Eat Now - http://www.eatnow.com.au
I was recently invited by Eat Now to review their service where I was able to place an order online by typing in my postcode which gave me a list of nearby restaurants (more than 1100 restaurants and takeaways on the site). The menus are uploaded on the site and it’s desktop, tablet and mobile friendly. Once the payment was processed (they accept Visa, Mastercard, Paypal and AMEX - woohoo!), I was sent an email and text as confirmation. Ordering take-out from Chilli Jam, Concord is always a treat :) Lately I’ve been so busy and even though mum does the cooking, it’s always nice to give her a break and order food from a restaurant and enjoy it in the comfort of your own home. It’s even better when your food gets delivered straight to your doorstep on a cold and rainy night! FYI, ‘ASAP Delivery’ takes roughly 45min-1hour from time of ordering but that’s quite decent considering it would take half that time to cook the food! Just thought I would add that in because some of the reviews on Eat Now commented on the time of delivery. Even though it was pouring rain outside, my order was dry and still very warm. Arrived in just under 45min ^^ But keep in mind that this is dependent on the restaurant as Eat Now can’t control the delivery time.

Seafood Curry Pot - Freshly grilled king prawn, black mussel, squid, fish fillet, cooked in curry paste, egg, coconut milk $23.90
Generous serving packed with an abundance of seafood and they don’t skimp out either, a couple of king prawns, mussels, squid, fish fillets, snow peas and baby corn. Usually it comes in a sizzling earthen pot in the restaurant but it’s just as delicious in the takeaway container :)

Gang Gari Curry - Yellow curry w/ chicken, potatoes, tofu (gf) $16.90
Seriously the BEST curry I have ever had and it’s always consistently lip-smacking delicious! Chunks of chicken and a whole potato with fluffy innards. There’s a small kick of spice complemented with the creamy coconut milk and a touch of sweetness from the roasted garlic. Sort of reminds me of laksa in a way. Definitely a great curry especially if you have a low spice tolerance like me! Consume with rice, noodles or roti :) or even bread, you’ll want to mop up all the saucy-goodness!

It’s great that Eat Now functions in real-time so you’ll be alerted if the restaurant isn’t open.

And if you click on the re-order button in the top right, your previous orders are saved which saves you time on having to select your favourite dishes :) it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!
