*Apologies for the lack of posts these days, my computer decided to have a heart-attack and the power supply box? has died -.- I still haven’t had the chance to get a new one yet and I have issues editing photos on my Macbook.. anyway, luckily I remembered I had some draft posts which were half-written!
Earlier this year, the boy & I took a much needed road trip to Hunter Valley to relax and wind-down. To cap off the end of our trip, I had made reservations for High Tea at the ever-so luxurious crème de la crème ”exclusive boutique adults retreat (unable to cater for children under the age of 16 years)Tower Lodge, Hunter ValleychampagneTaittinger Champagne Brut Reserve NV, France - Light straw in colour, this luscious wine has great effervescence with floral, honeyed scents, hints of spices and a touch of citrus on the bouquet. The palate is clean and delicate showing citrus flavours, bread dough and vanilla characters with excellent balance.
High Tea - $42.00 per person
Champagne Tea - $56.00 per person (includes one flute of sparkling)fireplaceWe were fortunate to have been given a cosy private room equipped with a magnificent roaring fireplace :) very Downton Abbey-like! Tower blendBlack tea selection: Tower Blend - Earl Grey with vanilla and rose petals  ♥

I love the decor with it’s mish mash of old romance with oriental and Grecian influence. Spending the night is a tad pricey though expected as it’s quite luxurious and they’ve won many awards! Would be a lovely place to go to for a honeymoon or a special romantic retreat :) even wedding shoots with all their props!
